Watch: Javed Akhtar and Ali Zafar’s jam session in Lahore is a treat to ears

Lyricist Javed Akhtar who had recently visited Pakistan for Faiz Literary Festival received a warm welcome from the organisers and others who attended the event.

A viral video from Lahore shows Pakistani actor and singer Ali Zafar singing Kishore Kumar's song 'Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main' with Akhtar in presence as guest of honour.

The veteran poet can be seen enjoying the musical aura as he too sang the song in chorus.

Sharing the clip Zafar tweeted, "It was an honour to host him. I have always believed art & music transcends boundaries and is the best way to bring people together. Love is the ONLY way to peace. Thank you @Javedakhtarjadu sahab for gracing us with your presence. Thank you Faiz sahab for keeping us connected."

At the lit fest, Akhtar slammed Pakistan for its role in the 26/11 attacks saying that the perpetrators of the deadly attacks were still roaming freely in the country.
