VP Dhankhar Celebrates President Murmu's 67th Birthday

New Delhi, Jun 20 (PTI): Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar extended warm birthday wishes to President Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of her 67th birthday this Friday, highlighting her unwavering commitment and exemplary standards in public service.

Dhankhar had paid a visit to Murmu on Thursday evening to personally convey his greetings in anticipation of her special day.

The President is currently on a three-day visit to the scenic state of Uttarakhand.

"Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji. Her extraordinary journey from humble beginnings to the highest constitutional office, epitomising modesty, simplicity and sublimity, reflects the true spirit of our democracy," read the vice president's message on X.

Dhankhar lauded Murmu, noting that she consistently exemplifies the highest standards in her roles spanning as MLA, governor, and now as the president of the world’s largest democracy, a legacy that serves as a beacon for all.

"May this birthday bring her abundant health, happiness and joy, and may the Almighty bless her with continued strength to serve our nation," the vice president conveyed.
