Viral Video: Man climbs tree to avoid Covid vaccine, another assaults officials. Don't be like them

Two videos - one from Bihar and another from UP - of people running scared of Covid vaccines have gone viral.

In a video from Reoti in Bihar, a man can be seen climbing a tree after health workers visited his area for Covid vaccination. The man was later convinced by the authorities on the benefits of the vaccine and was administered the jab.

While things ended on a hilarious note in Bihar, in UP a man's fear of vaccine took a turn violent as he assaulted the health workers.

A boatman pounced on the officials who were on a vaccination drive in Ballia area of UP. In the viral video, a man standing on a boat can be seen furiously arguing against taking the vaccine with the officials, before assaulting one of them. Here too, officials said that the man was in the end convinced and given the shot.

Experts have repeatedly emphasised that vaccines are the best bet against coronavirus and are safe. Government has also been urging people to take the Covid shots. Don't be like these two men, go get your vaccine.
