Police jeep enters AIIMS Rishikesh ward to arrest molestation accused | Watch

In a bizarre incident, a police jeep reportedly entered a ward of AIIMS Rishikesh to arrest a nursing officer accused of sexual harassment.

A video of the shocking incident has gone viral. It showed the police jeep driving through a crowded room filled with patients and hospital staff.

Security personnel present at the hospital can be seen pushing the beds and stretchers out of the vehicle's way.

The nursing officer, Satish Kumar, was arrested. He is accused of molesting a junior resident doctor on duty in the trauma surgery unit.

A day later, the resident doctors gathered outside the office of the Dean (Academics) and raised slogans.

They demanded the nursing officer's immediate termination of service and said that mere suspension was not enough for the offence he had committed, Medical Superintendent Sanjiv Kumar Mittal said.

They also demanded the suspension of assistant nursing superintendent ANS Sinoj who had put the nursing officer on duty, Mittal added.
