In video, clash erupts between priest & devotees in Haridwar

A clash erupted in Haridwar between a few pilgrims from Saharanpur and the priest at the Siddhpeeth Dakshin Kali Mandir on April 14.

The video, showing two groups bashing each other with lathis, has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the altercation occurred over a parking slip, which led to a heated argument between the two groups. The devotees allegedly assaulted the temple staff members.

Police and onlookers tried to resolve the matter, but failed to stop the two groups from scattering in the area and attacking each other.
