UP CM assures help to class 7 girl unable to continue education due to family's financial hardship

When a class 7 student told Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that her education could be disrupted as her parents were unable to pay the school fees, he told the girl that the government would ensure that she did not have to drop out.

The girl, Pankhuri Tripathi, a resident of Purdilpur in the Kotwali area here, put forth her appeal for help at a 'Janta Darshan' held at the Gorakhnath temple.

"I want to study, but my family is unable to pay the school fees," Tripathi told the CM.

Tripathi, who studies in an English-medium school, shared that her father is differently-abled, her mother works in a shop to support the family and her elder brother is a class 12 student. Amid the family's financial difficulties, her schooling had almost ended, she said.

Moved by her sincerity, Adityanath assured the girl that her education would not be disrupted.

"Either your fees will be waived, or we will arrange the amount," he promised.

The CM also fulfilled Tripathi's wish to click a picture with him.

During the 'Janta Darshan', Adityanath met over 100 people, listening to their grievances and issuing on-the-spot directives to officials to resolve the issues.

He reiterated that resolving public issues, especially those related to education, healthcare and welfare schemes, remains a top priority for his government.
