CM Yogi Adityanath attends 'Guru Gorakhnath Health Service Yatra 5.0' in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the 'Guru Gorakhnath Health Service Yatra 5.0' event in Lucknow on Monday, where he addressed the development of the 54 villages of the Vantangiya community.

CM Yogi stated that since the formation of his government in 2017, they had focused on the welfare of these villages, recognizing them and providing essential services like voting rights.

He added, "In 2017, after our government was formed, we thought about the 54 villages of the Vantangiya community, recognised them and also provided all facilities to them, including voting rights. Earlier, they were exploited by police."

Earlier on Sunday, CM Yogi visited Kanpur to inspect the venue for a public meeting ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit. He also convened a meeting with public representatives and officials at Chandrashekhar Agriculture University in preparation for the visit. During his trip, CM Yogi took a metro ride from Nayaganj to Rawatpur metro station in Kanpur.

Additionally, CM Yogi visited Gorakhpur to review the Herbert Bandha four-lane road project, emphasizing that it will alleviate transportation issues and ease traffic congestion.

Furthermore, CM Yogi approved infrastructure development projects worth over Rs 700 crore for the district. He also highlighted plans to widen and strengthen roads in Gorakhpur, along with constructing new four-lane roads and an overbridge.

In a post on X, CM Yogi shared, "Today I participated in the programme organised for the on-site inspection of the widening and strengthening of roads in Gorakhpur district, new construction of a 4-lane road, and construction of an overbridge. Giving further impetus to the prosperity journey of Gorakhpur, development works worth more than Rs 700 crores have been approved for the public. Hearty congratulations to the people of the district."
