UP Deputy CM Criticizes Congress, Labels Allies and Rivals

Lucknow, May 27 (PTI) - Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya recently criticized the Congress, describing the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) as its "domestic crutches", while labeling China and Pakistan as its "foreign crutches" on the international stage. He asserted that the Congress is grappling to sustain its presence through these supports.

Posting on X in Hindi, Maurya remarked, "Crutches have become an inherent trait of the Congress. It relies on them in its battle to preserve its existence. It can be stated unequivocally that SP and RJD serve as its domestic crutches, while internationally, China and Pakistan function as its foreign supports." Maurya has been consistently targeting leaders from Congress and the Samajwadi Party.

He previously commented that the Samajwadi Party represents "hooliganism" and that the Congress embodies "pseudoism". Furthermore, he criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, branding them as a "boring and tiresome duo" who have reduced the esteemed party to a "source of ridicule".
