Situated in Nainital district, this prison is readying its abandoned portions as accommodation for jail toursists to help them get rid of their bad karma, that could result in a period of incarceration.

The foundation of this over 100 years old jail was laid in 1903. Owing to lack of maintence, a part of it is in shambles, which is now being revived for jail guests.
