Singapore to allow tourists from India from October 26, quarantine period must

Singapore has removed India from its travel restriction list along with Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

However, travellers would still be required to complete a quarantine period at a dedicated facility on entering the country.

All travellers with a 14-day travel history to Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka prior to departure to Singapore will be allowed to enter and transit through Singapore from October 26. These travellers will be subject to Category IV border measures.

Singapore had earlier announced that all travellers with a 14-day travel history to Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will not be allowed to enter or transit through Singapore.

According to officials, the new measure was announced after a review of the Covid-19 situation in these countries.
