Jaipur, Nov 7 (PTI) – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the unifying power of "Vande Mataram," calling it a significant national movement, during an event at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium on Friday. He remarked that the occasion was not merely a celebration but a national movement in itself, highlighting its importance in bringing together citizens across the nation. The event marked the 150th anniversary of the national song with enthusiasm and patriotism. Sharma underscored the program's goal of connecting citizens, especially the youth and students, to the revolutionary fervor embodied by "Vande Mataram." The event saw thousands of participants, including the Chief Minister, joining in a collective rendition of the song. In addition to the musical tribute, Chief Minister Sharma took the opportunity to honor outstanding sportspersons, acknowledging their achievements and contributions. The state-level program also featured various cultural performances, showcasing the rich heritage and diversity of India.
