Rahul Gandhi offers 'seva' at Golden Temple in Amritsar: watch

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on October 2. He offered 'seva' with other devotees and washed dishes along with them.

Dressed in a white kurta, Rahul covered his head with a blue scarf as the group sat in the washing area.

Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring said Gandhi is on a personal visit to the city

“Shri @RahulGandhi ji is coming to Amritsar Sahib to pay obeisance at Sachkhand Shri Harmandir Sahib. This is his personal, spiritual visit, let's respect his privacy. Request all party workers to not be physically present for this visit. You all can show your support in spirit & meet him the next time. Satnaam Shri Waheguru,” Warring posted on X.

Gandhi's visit to Golden Temple comes amid tensions between India and Canada over the Khalistan movement and just two days the Indian High Commissioner to the UK was denied entry to a gurdwara in Scotland
