Amaravati, July 1 (PTI) — Senior BJP leader PVN Madhav officially assumed the role of Andhra Pradesh unit president, succeeding D Purandeswari. The election, overseen by BJP leader and Bengaluru MP PC Mohan, resulted in Madhav being elected unanimously. Madhav received a certificate of election as president, marking the conclusion of D Purandeswari's two-year tenure as party president in the state. Madhav commenced his political journey in 2003, joining the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the BJP's youth wing.
