Punjab declares holidays in schools due to intense cold

All schools in the state will remain closed from December 24 to December 31. 

Punjab declares holidays in schools due to intense cold

Punjab governmemt on December 22 announced holidays in all schools in wake of the intense cold conditions prevailing in the region. According to a statement by the education department, all schools shall remain close in the state from December 24 to December 31.

Notably, apart from the government school, all private, aided and recognised schools shall remain closed.
