Punjab's Initiative: 2025 Residential Coaching Camp for JEE, NEET

Adopting a holistic approach to nurture potential and build confidence of government school students to unlock a path to a brighter future, the Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government has started a Residential Summer Coaching Camp- 2025 at SAS Nagar (Mohali) to prepare the young minds for competitive exams including JEE and NEET, announced S. Harjot Singh Bains, Minister of School Education, Punjab.

The move comes following the remarkable success of the previous academic year, where 265 government school students have qualified for JEE (Mains) and 44 students cleared JEE (Advanced).

S. Harjot Singh Bains said that Punjab School Education department is hosting the Residential Summer Coaching Camp- 2025 under its flagship School of Eminence programme to provide top-notch competitive exam coaching to government school students.

"As many as 600 students of Class 12th, selected through a rigorous process, will be participating in the 7th edition of the Residential Summer Coaching Camp," he said, while adding that the 23-day intensive camp includes 500 students preparing for JEE and 100 for NEET, highlighting the program's sustained success.

"We are committed to levelling the playing field for government school students. Every student deserves a chance to pursue their dreams, regardless of their background. This camp isn't just about academics; it's about nurturing potential, building confidence, and paving the way for a brighter future for these young minds,” emphasised the Education Minister.

S. Harjot Singh Bains said that the Residential Summer Coaching Camp provides a comprehensive and nurturing environment to support student success. It offers expert guidance through top-tier coaching from experienced educators, providing high-quality academic support tailored to the students’ specific needs. The curriculum is designed to address unique learning styles, focusing on foundational concepts, problem-solving strategies, and test-taking techniques. Daily doubt-solving sessions create a supportive environment, while comfortable accommodations, nutritious meals, and 24x7 supervision ensure students can focus on their studies. Beyond academics, the camp includes sessions on stress management, emotional well-being, team-building, career guidance, and cultural programs to foster holistic growth and empower students to excel.

This pathbreaking initiative embodies the CM Mann led Punjab Government's commitment to democratising quality education, fostering equity and empowering youth. By providing government school students a level playing field with their private school peers, the initiative aims to enhance academic outcomes and career prospects, reflecting the government's vision for excellence and inclusivity in education, he added.
