TMC MP Derek O'Brien said that the party's account had been compromised, and they were in touch with Twitter officials.

The Twitter account of West Bengal's ruling party All India Trinamool Congress, appeared to have been hacked on the morning of 28 February 2023.

The Twitter profile of TMC showed a different name and profile picture. The party's name was replaced by "Yuga Labs", and the TMC's symbol of two flowers and grass was replaced by a stylistic 'Y' letter.

TMC MP Derek O'Brien said that the party's account had been compromised, and they were in touch with Twitter officials. O'Brien said that Twitter had assured the party of prompt action.
