UP cops' unique plan to nab looters on Yamuna expressway targeting commuters

Uttar Pradesh cops have chalked out a unique strategy to track the looters on Yamuna Expressway's stretch that passes through Mathura in the state following two incidents of robbery.

As per the Times of India, to keep an eye on the movement of miscreants who attacked commuters on May 29 and another on June 2, the cops are positioning themselves on trees.

Dressed in civil clothes, armed with weapons and binoculars, the cops can be seen sitting on trees and tracking movement.

As per the publication, a Delhi-based PWD official was robbed on May 29 and a grocery dealer from the national capital was targeted on June 2 and looted.

The robbers first pelted stones at the vehicles to make it stop and then attacked the occupants, robbing them of money and valuables.
