Unemployment the reason behind Parliament security breach: Rahul Gandhi

The INDIA bloc is holding nationwide protests against suspension of Opposition MPs from the Parliament.

At the protest at Jantar Mantar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that unemployment is the reason behind the December 13 Parliament security breach.

Gandhi said that two to three youths jumped into the Parliament and released smoke. The BJP MPs ran away at this, he added.

"Why did the protest this way? What was the reason? Unemployment. The massive unemployment in the country," Gandhi said.

Gandhi further said that the youth today spends 7.5 hours on social media. He said that the youth is addicted to their phones as they don't have jobs.

Gandhi hit out at the government for supending close to 150 MPs from the Parliament.
