On cam: IPS, IAS officer engage in brawl at eatery in Rajasthan, suspended

An IPS and IAS officer has been suspended over their alleged brawl at a restaurant on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan, according to reports. The senior officers are among 5 people who have faced action.

As per the NDTV, on Sunday, the officials including IAS Giridhar were returning from a party organised for IPS officer Sushil Kumar Bishnoi's new posting. They halted at the eating point to use the restroom, however, a heated argument broke out between the staff and officials.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV captured nearby. The footage from the CCTV showed men exchanging blows and throwing stones.

However, the reason for the brawl is yet to be verified.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Police Department has initiated the probe by vigilance department.
