Rahul Gandhi did not attend the inauguration of the new Parliament building as part of the Opposition boycott but there was another Gandhi family scion in attendance, his cousin Varun Gandhi.

The BJP MP shared a selfie with his mother and fellow MP Maneka Gandhi on Twitter from the new Parliament building.

'On this historic occasion of the inauguration of our new Parliamentary complex, I cheekily requested the most senior member of the current Lok Sabha for a couple of selfies together,' he tweeted.
