'Madam Chatur', 'Miss Fad-noise': Maharashtra Dy CM's wife clashes with Sena (UBT) leader

On the day that news emerged of the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister's wife alleging threats and conspiracies against her, a war of words broke out on Twitter.

Priyanka Chaturvedi, a Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, raised alarm over a "criminal's daughter" gaining access to deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis' house, and giving his wife "jewellery and clothes to wear for promotion". She also sought an independent investigation in the case.

In response, Amruta Fadnavis called Priyanka "Madam Chatur", and slammed her for questioning her honesty. Amruta added that Priyanka would have helped a person who had offered her money to close police cases.

Priyanka reacted to this by calling Amruta "Miss Fad-noise", and added that she doesn't take "designer clothes for promotion" which leads to "messy situations" later.
