Govt working like Taliban; CBI-ED its weapons: Sanjay Raut on Rabri Devi's questioning

Launching a stinging attack at the Centre, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday said that the govt is working like the Taliban as it is terrorising people by using CBI and ED.

Speaking with ANI, Raut said, like the Taliban uses weapons to target its enemy, the Narendra Modi government is using both the federal investigative agencies to target and eliminate their enemies.

Raut's comments came after a team of CBI officials showed up at Rabri Devi's residence in Patna for questioning in the land-for-jobs scam.

Earlier on Sunday, Leaders of nine opposition parties, including Chief Ministers Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, K Chandrasekhar Rao, have written a joint letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging "blatant misuse" of central agencies against members of the opposition.
