As far as the inauguration is concerned, Sharad Pawar knows him (Gautam Adani), and he invited him... It was the inauguration of a new investment... There is no need for objection to it... NDTV, citing sources said, the probe agency has compiled a list of 19 fugitive Khalistani terrorists residing in the UK, US, Canada, Dubai, Pakistan, and others.&nbsp;
As per the news outlet, the sources have indicated that the assets of fugitive Khalistani terrorists are also poised for confiscation as part of the ongoing efforts.&nbsp;
This action is set to be executed under the stringent anti-terrorism law, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
These fugitive terrorists are alleged to have been orchestrating anti-India propaganda campaigns from their overseas bases, the report added.&nbsp;

Exuding confidence about a good showing in the upcoming assembly polls, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that as of now the Congress is certainly winning Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, probably winning Telangana, and there is a "very close" contest in Rajasthan which the party believes it will emerge victorious in.
Gandhi also referred to the row over BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri's derogatory remarks against BSP leader Danish Ali in Lok Sabha, alleging that the BJP indulges in such tactics to distract from the demand for a caste census.
He asserted that the opposition is adapting and working together and the BJP is "in for a surprise in 2024" general elections.

The collegium, which comprises Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and KM Joseph, recommended the names of R Sakthivel, P Dhanabal, Chinnasamy Kumarappan, and K Rajasekar.

&nbsp;The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has recommended the names of four district judges for appointment as judges of the Madras High Court.
The collegium, which comprises Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and KM Joseph, recommended the names of R Sakthivel, P Dhanabal, Chinnasamy Kumarappan, and K Rajasekar.
The resolution dated March 21 stated that the recommendation made by the High Court Collegium on August 10, 2022, for the appointment of the four judicial officers as judges of the Madras High Court has the concurrence of the chief minister and the governor of Tamil Nadu.
The file was received from the Department of Justice on January 5 this year, it said.
"In order to ascertain the fitness and suitability of the above-named judicial officers for elevation to the high court.

In a joint operation by the Jammu and Kashmir police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), two terror modules were busted in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, leading to the arrest of five terrorists.
A huge quantity of arms and ammunition, including two pistols, three hand grenades, one under-barrel grenade launcher, two pistol magazines, 12 pistol rounds, and 21 AK-47 rounds, was recovered from them. The terrorists were identified as Aadil Hussain Wani, Suhail Ahmad Dar, Aitmad Ahmad Laway, Mehraj Ahmad Lone, and Sabzar Ahmad Khaar from the Lashkar-e-Taiba.&nbsp;

According to Hindustan Times, the officials said that neither Canada nor the United States shared any intelligence on the issue in the run-up to the G20 Summit.
The officials further said that Canadian PM Justin Trudeau should name the killer of Nijjar and the Indian government official, if any' who allegedly ordered the hit.
The officials insisted that Trudeau&rsquo;s allegations are politically motivated with an eye on the Sikh diaspora in Canada.

Terming the relationship with India as "important", Canada's Defence Minister Bill Blair on Sunday said that his country will continue to pursue partnerships like the Indo-Pacific strategy while the investigation of the killing of a Sikh separatist leader continues.
Tensions flared between India and Canada ᨊfollowing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's explosive allegations of a "potential" involvement of Indian agents in the killing of Khalistani extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, 45, on his country's soil on June 18 in British Columbia. India had designated Nijjar as a terrorist in 2020.
India angrily rejected the allegations as "absurd" and "motivated" and expelled a senior Canadian diplomat in a tit-for-tat move to Ottawa's expulsion of an Indian official over the case.
Canada had been seeking deeper trade, defence and immigration ties with India before the &ldquo;credible intelligence,&rdquo; as Trudeau called it, was first raised with Canadian officials, Global News reported.
In an interview aired Sunday on The West Block, Blair suggested Canada will continue to pursue those partnerships while the investigation into allegations continues, calling the relationship with India &ldquo;important.&rdquo; &ldquo;We understand that this can be, and has proven to be, a challenging issue with respect to our relationship with India,&rdquo; he was quoted as saying by Global News.
&ldquo;But at the same time, we have a responsibility to defend the law, defend our citizens, and at the same time make sure that we conduct a thorough investigation and get to the truth.&rdquo; If the allegations are proven true, Blair said &ldquo;there is a very significant concern that Canada will have with respect to the violation of our sovereignty in the murder of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil.&rdquo; Blair said the Indo-Pacific strategy was still a critical one for Canada and has led to an increased military presence in the region and commitments for further patrol capabilities.
The strategy commits USD 492.9 million over five years toward those military priorities, out of a total of nearly USD 2.3 billion over the same period.
On Thursday, India asked Canada to come down hard on terrorists and anti-India elements operating from its soil and suspended visa services for Canadians, as escalating tensions between the two nations over the killing of Nijjar pushed their ties to an all-time low.
India also asked Canada to downsize its diplomatic staff in the country, arguing that there should be parity in strength and rank equivalence in the mutual diplomatic presence. The size of Canadian diplomatic staff in India is larger than what New Delhi has in Canada.

As the NIA probe into the financial operations of prominent Khalistani leaders and criminal figures based in Canada continues, new details have come to fore.&nbsp;
According to the NIA chargesheet, the funds generated in India, primarily through extortion and smuggling activities, are not only used to finance their acts of violence in both India and Canada but are also being invested in diverse ventures such as yachts, film projects, and even the Canadian Premier League.
Moreover, the money amassed by these gangsters has found its way into the entertainment and hospitality sector, including clubs and bars in Thailand.
The probe agency has meticulously documented 13 instances in the charge sheet that occurred between 2019 and 2021, in which sums ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹60 lakh were illicitly transferred from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to destinations in Canada and Thailand via the hawala network.
The NIA's charge sheet was filed in March this year against 14 individuals as part of a larger Khalistan-gangster nexus.&nbsp;
