Delhi Services Bill in Rajya Sabha today: Congress, AAP issue whip for its MPs

Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party have issued a three-line whip for its MPs, urging them to be present in the Rajya Sabha on Monday as Delhi Services Bill is likely to be taken up in the Upper House.

The Rajya Sabha on August 4 was adjourned for the day amid a ruckus created by both the Opposition party members as well as the treasury benches. Govt and leaders of Opposition parties are up in arms against the Bill that was cleared in Lok Sabha by voice vote amid ruckus.

Congress has extended its support to AAP for its fight against the Delhi Services Bill brought in by the Centre.

Several INDIA bloc parties have also vowed their support to AAP against Centre's Bill
