Congress created problems in name of overall development: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday amid sloganeering by members of the Parliament.

The Opposition parties continued with their jibe over the Adani controversy, demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the matter.

In a retort to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s statements, Prime Minister Modi said: “When I became the Prime Minister in 2014, I saw that the Congress had created problems and issues everywhere, even though they wanted to create a strong foundation for India's overall development."
