A day after meeting the CEO of ChatGPT creator OpenAI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Sam Altman for an "insightful conversation".

The PM on June 9, 2023 said that the "potential of artificial intelligence in enhancing India’s tech ecosystem is vast".

He added that India welcomes all collaborations which can "accelerate digital transformation" for empowerment of citizens.
