Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his monthly radio address Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, praised the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, calling it a symbol of "unity in diversity." He emphasized that the religious gathering is free from any form of discrimination and that it represents the strength and future of India when the youth embrace their rich civilization.

In the 118th episode of the popular radio program, Modi also commended the Election Commission for utilizing new technologies to ensure fair elections, despite criticism from opposition parties. He urged citizens to actively participate in the voting process, reinforcing India's commitment to democracy. Modi’s remarks came ahead of the Election Commission's foundation day on January 25, also observed as National Voters' Day.

The Prime Minister further paid tribute to the founding fathers of India’s Constitution, including Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, highlighting their contributions through audio clips. He urged the nation to draw inspiration from these leaders as India celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Constitution's adoption on Republic Day.
