On Friday, he announced that a uniform fee of Rs 100 will be applied for all preliminary tests, while no charges will be levied for the mains exams. In a message posted on X in Hindi, Kumar expressed his delight: "I am pleased to announce that we have standardized the fees for preliminary tests (PT) of competitive examinations conducted by all commissions for state-level government jobs and have provided significant concessions for candidates." He elaborated further: "Instructions have been issued to charge only Rs 100 as the fee for the preliminary tests. Moreover, those who advance to the mains exam will be exempted from any examination fees."
