NIA Executes Searches Across India in Terror Conspiracy Probe

New Delhi, Sep 8 (PTI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched a major operation, executing searches at 22 locations across five states and Jammu and Kashmir as part of an ongoing investigation into a terror conspiracy case. The operation, which took place on Monday, was revealed by officials who highlighted the extensive scope of the probe.

The searches were conducted at strategic locations, including nine sites in Jammu and Kashmir, eight in Bihar, and two in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, individual locations in Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu were also scrutinized by the agency.

Specifically, within Jammu and Kashmir, the NIA's activities were focused on the districts of Baramulla, Kulgam, Anantnag, and Pulwama, where each location was methodically examined as part of the investigation.

As the operation is ongoing, more details are anticipated as the NIA continues to unravel the aspects of the alleged terror conspiracy.
