Amid claims of irregularities in NEET, a new pattern of suspected foul play has been observed that is worrying the authorities.

According to a Times of India report, several students who fared poorly in the medical test, excelled in their second attempts.

Some of them took their tests at obscure centres. Two of such centres has been identified in Belagavi and a small town near Patna.

Government sources quoted by the report said attempts are on to identify such students who are now pursuing MBBS in govt-run medical colleges.

Notably, such an alleged scam was busted in a school in Gujarat's Godhra, where students' answer sheets were filled by the centre's deputy superintendent.
