Bengaluru, Aug 26 (PTI): Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot presented the esteemed “Namma Bengaluru Awards,” recognising individuals for their remarkable contributions to enhancing the city, during a ceremony on August 25. Among this year's honorees, Dr. S G Sushilamma received the Lifetime Achievement Award. H L Prabhakar, Registration Assistant Inspector General (Computers), was named Government Official of the Year. The Rising Star of the Year award went to Malavika R Nair. In the category of Social Entrepreneurs of the Year, Vikas Brahmavar and Gautam Desing were celebrated, while Dr. P Sriram and Dr. Alexander Thomas were honoured as Namma Bengalureans of the Year.
