Drugs on cruise case: SRK's son Aryan Khan arrested, sent to NCB custody

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan along with two other people have been arrested after the anti-drug agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on Saturday.

Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha have been sent to NCB custody till Monday.

According to reports, Aaryan has been arrested under section 27 of the NDPS (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act). Soon after his arrest, the star son was taken to JJ Hospital for a medical examination.

The agency busted a rave party onboard the ship where drugs were being used, NCB officials said on Sunday.

NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said “Aryan Khan was on the cruise ship where the agency raided in the night and busted a rave party,”

Aryan was earlier questioned by the NCB at its Ballard Estate office in south Mumbai.

13 people, including three Delhi women were detained for questioning in connection with the rave party on the cruise ship.

NCB officials said that they received information about the rave party and booked tickets and boarded the cruise ship posing as passengers. There were hundreds of passengers on the Goa-bound ship, an official said.

NCB Chief was quoted as saying that they 'acted on specific intelligence inputs' and that 'involvement of some Bollywood links has come to light'.
