Monsoon Session of Parliament Announced: July 21 - August 12

New Delhi, Jun 4 (PTI) The Monsoon session of Parliament is scheduled to take place from July 21 to August 12, as announced by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday. The dates were recommended by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, which is chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Rijiju informed reporters. The announcement arrives amidst calls from opposition leaders for a special session to address Operation Sindoor. Responding to queries about the opposition's demand, the Minister noted that all issues could be discussed during the Monsoon session, as permitted under the rules.
