The deceased met Poonawalla at the call centre for a MNC in Mumbai. The two started dating and moved in together. But as the woman's family disapproved of their relationship, they shifted to Delhi and started living in a flat in Mehrauli.

In a spine chilling case, Delhi police arrested a man for allegedly killing a woman, chopping her body into multiple pieces and spreading it across the city in a bid to hide the crime.

As per an NDTV report, the deceased identified as 26-year-old Shraddha was in a live in relationship with Aftab Ameen Poonawalla who committed the crime. He stepped out at 2 am everyday to dump the woman's body parts.

Citing sources the report further said, accused, identified as Aftab Ameen Poonawalla strangled his live-in partner Shraddha in a fit of rage after they had a fight on May 18. He later chopped her body into 35 pieces. Poonawalla then bought a fridge to preserve them and over the next 18 days, he disposed across Delhi.

The deceased met Poonawalla at the call centre for a MNC in Mumbai. The two started dating and moved in together. But as the woman's family disapproved of their relationship, they shifted to Delhi and started living in a flat in Mehrauli.

Ponawalla was arrested after Shraddha's father tried reaching her over calls but could not. He then visited the flat and found it locked. Her father raised an alarm and approached police and filed a complaint alleging kidnapping on Nov 8.

After arrest, Poonawalla revealed the entire crime and the reason behind gruesome act. The police have now filed a case of murder and are searching for Shraddha's body.
