Kashmiri Pandit attacked by terrorists in Shopian: Bal Krishan shot on hand and leg

Amid a political debate over the plight of Kashmiri Pandit exodus, a member of the community was reportedly attacked by terrorists.

Bal Krishan, a shopkeeper in Kashmir's Shopian, was targeted by terrorists on the evening of April 4. The Kashmiri Pandit suffered bullet injuries on his hand and leg, as per reports. He was rushed to the Army hospital in Srinagar for treatment, and his condition was reportedly stable.


The attack came just hours after terrorists attacked CRPF personnel in J&K capital Srinagar. While one CRPF soldier died, another was injured in the attack in the Maisuma area.

Another attack took place in Pulwama on April 4. Two migrant workers from Bihar were shot and injured by terrorists. The victims were identified as Patleshwar Kumar and Jako Chowdhary.


On April 3, terrorists had shot and injured two workers from Punjab's Pathankot.
