Authorities of a dozen districts, including Lucknow, Aligarh, Meerut, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and Ghaziabad, ordered the closure of schools on 10 October. The Met Department predicted more rain in Uttar Pradesh on 10 October.

For Delhi, sporadic light to moderate rainfall has been predicted for 10 October, which is expected to peter out by the next day.
