'Drugs party': Kids of actors, politicians found at alleged Hyderabad rave; cocaine seized, say reports

In a major crackdown on drug use, an alleged rave party was busted in Hyderabad in the early hours of April 3. Many relatives of actors, politicians, and other eminent personalities were reportedly found at the party at a luxury hotel.

Banned drugs like cocaine and marijuana were reportedly seized. The task force team of Hyderabad police reportedly conducted a raid at a pub at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Banjara Hills.

Among the attendees at the alleged rave party were actor Naga Babu's daughter Niharika Konidela, and singer Rahul Sipligunj, as per an NDTV report. Sipligunj had won the third edition of the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show.

The daughter of a top Andhra police official, and the son of TDP parliamentarian were also at the party, as per the report. The pub which was raided is reportedly owned by the daughter of a former Khammam MP.

Naga Babu has reportedly claimed that his daughter has no association with drugs. Telangana Congress leader Anjan Kumar Yadav reportedly claimed that his son went to a birthday party and lies were being floated.

The station house officer of Banjara Hills police station has been suspended, while a charge memo has been sent to ACP (Banjara Hills division) for negligence, as per reports.
