For the past two days, incessant rains have wreaked havoc in Vidarbha and Marathwada regions of Maharashtra. 10 were killed because of heavy rains, one died after a bus ferrying passengers was swept away on Nagpur-Nanded route.

10 deaths have been reported in Maharashtra's Marathwada due to heavy rainfall.

More than 200 farm animals and 28 houses, including thatched ones, were partially or fully damaged as torrential rains continued to lash central Maharashtra.

Several acres of agricultural crops have been damaged as well.

Separately, one person was reported dead and 3 missing since a bus skid off the road on the Nagpur-Nanded route.
