Kerala mother-son duo clear PSC exam, leave internet overjoyed

The internet is awed over a mother-son duo clearing the Kerala State Public Service Commission (PSC) examination together. The talented duo from Kerala's Malappuram has set an example like never before.

42-year-old Bindu secured 92 rank in the Last Grade Servants (LGS) exam while her 24-year-old son Vivek cleared the Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) exam with 38 rank in the state service examination.

The two are eligible to enter the government service exam in the state and their happiness knows no bounds.

Vivek has attributed his success to his mother saying that both of them would attened the coaching classes together.

An Anganwadi teacher by profession, Bindu cleared the exam in her fourth attempt and was preparing for the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) supervisor exam. The ICDS preparation helped her to clear the state service exam, Vivek told ANI.

The feeling has not sunk in yet as the duo did not expect to qualify. They credit their teachers and family for the motivation and support to help them sail through.

The news has left the internet overjoyed as they congratulate Bindu and Vivek. A user called the news "inspirational" while another gestured a "grand salute" to the mother for making it through, despite obstacles.

One user wrote "Maatrudevibhava" as he hailed the mother for her success, another called it an "excellent news" of the day
