These parties have questioned his use of "lavish" VIP security, pointing out the contrast between his past image as a representative of the "common man" and his current extensive security convoy.

Kejriwal's arrival in Hoshiarpur was marked by a notable security presence, including a convoy with ambulances, fire engines, and luxury vehicles.

The timing of this 10-day Vipassana session follows closely on the heels of the Aam Aadmi Party's significant losses in the recent Delhi Assembly elections.

Critics have been quick to highlight the disparity between Kejriwal's earlier days, when he was seen as a common man driving a WagonR, and his current mode of travel, which reportedly includes bulletproof Land Cruisers, a large contingent of Punjab Police commandos, and security jammers.
