Kejriwal Criticizes BJP After Bomb Threats in Delhi Schools

New Delhi, Aug 18 (PTI) - Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal strongly criticized the BJP on Monday, accusing its "four-engine" administration of failing to uphold law and order in the capital after bomb threats were issued to three schools.

The threats were sent via email to Delhi Public School, Modern Convent School, and Shri Ram World School, all located in Dwarka, sparking panic among students and leading to the evacuation of the premises.

"Several schools in Dwarka, including Delhi Public School, Dwarka, have once again received bomb threats today. This pattern of threats against schools in Delhi continues unabated; yet, no one has been apprehended and no concrete action has been taken," Kejriwal stated in a Hindi post on X.

"The BJP can neither manage Delhi nor ensure law and order. The BJP's so-called ‘four-engine government’ has entirely faltered in Delhi," he added.

Echoing his concerns, senior AAP leader Atishi remarked that both children and their parents are living in fear.

"The threats targeting schools show no signs of ending. Once again, bomb threats have been made against Delhi schools. What exactly is the Delhi Police doing? Children and parents remain gripped by fear, while the BJP’s so-called four-engine government has failed to provide them security," Atishi expressed on X.

The "four-engine" term used by AAP leaders refers to the BJP's governance at the Centre, within Delhi, in the MCD, and its alleged influence over the lieutenant governor's office.
