The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Saturday sacked four government employees including terror accused Bitta Karate's wife and the son of Syed Salahuddin, the chief of banned outfit Hizbul Mujahideen.

All four were dismissed from service under Article 311 of the Constitution which enables the government to sack its employees without an inquiry.

Those dismissed include Assabah-ul-Arjamand Khan, the wife of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front member Farooq Ahmed Dar alias Bitta Karate, is a 2011 batch Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officer and was posted in the Directorate of Rural Development. Muheet Ahmad Bhat, a senior scientist at Kashmir University; Majid Hussain Qadri, Senior Assistant Professor, Kashmir University, and Syed Abdul Mueed, Manager IT, Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI).

Farooq Ahmed Dar alias Bitta Karate is currently in judicial custody in terror-funding cases, officials said.

The J&K administration has, over the past 11 months, terminated the services of over 40 government employees, reported The Indian Express.
