An assistant professor is aping a style mostly used by political parties to make announcements. Prateekshit Kanu Pandey, who is the assistant professor, shared a post on X that looked similar to a political party's congratulatory post.

In his post, Pandey wrote that he is happy to officially announce that he is joining the Department of Communication at UC Santa Barbara as an Assistant Professor, starting January 2024.

The post quickly went viral and it garnered the attention of people. Several internet users reacted by saying that the style of making this announcement was hilarious. While others reacted by saying that this assistant professor is making gold content and they are here to enjoy it.

Prateekshit Kanu Pandey shared a similar style post in July

Back in July, Pandey shared a similar style poster where he invited people to join him on Zoom for his dissertation defence presentation. The central theme of his thesis revolved around the intricate exploration of the reciprocal causal connection between political efficacy and the dissemination of both conventional and humorous news.

In addendum to this, Pandey has a specialisation in political communication and is also an improv comedian. From 2019 to 2023, he worked with Comedy Sportz Philadelphia, where he both performed and taught improv comedy.
