Indian fugitive Zakir Naik likely to be deported to India from Oman: report

Zakir Naik, who has been charged for money laundering and hate speech in India, has been living in exile in Malaysia since 2017, as a fugitive.

Radical Islamist preacher Zakir Naik is likely to be deported from Oman, with the Indian intelligence agencies already in touch with authorities in Oman.

Local Indian embassy is in touch with agencies to detain and eventually deport him under the local laws, as per reports.

Naik, who has been charged with money laundering and hate speech in India, has been living in exile in Malaysia since 2017, as a fugitive.
