Haryana Celebrates First Year of Third BJP Term

Chandigarh, Oct 17 (PTI) - As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana celebrated its first anniversary of the third consecutive term on Friday, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the state's growing prominence as a national pride across various sectors, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that the Haryana government is committed to working with renewed vigor to achieve the prime minister's vision of a developed India.

Saini expressed his views in a Hindi post on X, highlighting the achievements of the state government.

"With the dynamic leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, the BJP administration in Haryana has successfully completed the first year of its third consecutive term. Haryana is becoming a national pride in agriculture, sports, health, and education, while also setting new benchmarks in industry and modernization. This historic progress of the state is credited to India's most popular Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. The BJP government in Haryana is operating at fourfold speed to realize his vision of a developed India," he affirmed.

A state-level celebration will take place in Panchkula, featuring the government's pivotal accomplishments, flagship initiatives, and future development plans.

On October 17, 2024, Saini was sworn in as Haryana's chief minister for the second time. Earlier, in March 2024, Saini, a key OBC figure for the BJP, succeeded Manohar Lal Khattar as the chief minister of Haryana, while Khattar now serves as a Union Minister.
