Haryana CM directs officers to view work uploaded on Jan Samvad Portal daily

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the officers should see all types of developmental works uploaded on Jan Samvad Portal daily and fix a target and take necessary action to complete them at the earliest. The more the officers plan the development works, the more the people of the state will benefit. The intention of the state government is that all the demands and complaints being raised by the citizens during the public dialogue program should be fulfilled by giving them priority.

Khattar was presiding over a review meeting regarding the progress of development works organized by the Development and Panchayat Department on Thursday. Development and Panchayat Minister Shri Devender Singh Babli was also present on the occasion.

While reviewing the development works being carried out by the department in the meeting, Chief Minister, Khattar said that earlier the demands for development works from across the state were fulfilled on the basis of whims and fancies by the concerned departments. In view of this, the present state government started a public dialogue program in the month of April last year so that all the demands received from the people are registered and on that basis, such works can be implemented with priority. He said that at present about 70,000 demands/complaints related to development works have been uploaded on Jan Samvad portal.

All the demands coming in the ongoing Vikash Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jan Samvad programs in the state will also be uploaded on this portal. After that, the concerned departments will work towards bringing all the works on the ground on priority basis. In this episode, the development and panchayat department also has an important responsibility.
