Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited a gurdwara in Ahmedabad, offered prayers for peace and welfare, and praised the Sikh community for preserving its culture and unity.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited a gurdwara in Ahmedabad, where he paid obeisance and offered prayers.

During the visit, he interacted with members of the media and expressed gratitude to the gurdwara management for inviting him and giving him the opportunity to seek blessings.

Speaking on the occasion, Mann said that he felt blessed to bow his head at the gurdwara and thanked the President Sahib for extending the invitation. He said that he prayed for strength to serve the nation, wisdom in public life, and the welfare of people across the world. He also said that prayers for peace, harmony, and universal well-being continue to be offered from the sacred place.

The Chief Minister added that prayers were once again offered for global peace, progress, and the welfare of all. Quoting a Sikh prayer, he said, “Nanak Naam Chardi Kala, Tere Bhane Sarvat Da Bhala.”

Mann said that he experienced peace and satisfaction during his visit and noted that the Sikh community in Ahmedabad has preserved its religion, heritage, and culture in a disciplined manner. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the gurdwara committee and its office-bearers in maintaining these traditions.

He further thanked the committee members, the President Sahib, and other office-bearers for their hospitality. Mann also said that seeing people living with unity, mutual respect, and a sense of brotherhood gave him immense joy.
