The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organized a large “Parivartan Sabha” at Madhuli near Nari village in Bhavnagar district, drawing a significant turnout of local residents alongside party workers and leaders.

The event was attended by AAP Gujarat State President Isudanbhai Gadhvi, State Organization General Secretary Manojbhai Sorathiya, State Working President Rajubhai Solanki, Saurashtra Zone In-charge Rajubhai Borkhatariya, State Youth President Brijraj Solanki, State Vice President Girdharbhai Padaya, State Secretary Mahipalsingh Zala, State Joint Secretary Khumansingh Gohil, Lok Sabha In-charge Deepakbhai Pandya, as well as district and city-level leaders.

The party described the turnout as a demonstration of public support and a signal of potential change in the Bhavnagar district ahead of the upcoming local self-government elections.

Addressing the gathering, State President Isudan Gadhvi criticized the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, stating that despite a multi-crore budget, basic services remain inadequate.

“Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation has a budget of thousands of crores, yet there will be nothing for your children—no good schools, no good hospitals, and even if there are hospitals, there will be no doctors,” he said.

Gadhvi highlighted AAP’s focus on farmers, the poor, and the marginalized, while contrasting it with BJP leadership. He said, “During the 2022 election campaign, I had said that if an Aam Aadmi Party government is formed, it will be a government of farmers, the poor and the deprived and it will improve the future of your children, but if a BJP government is formed, then the sons of Amit Shah and C.R. Patil will become big people, and today this is proving to be absolutely true.”

He also spoke on agricultural issues and promised reforms, saying, “Our country is an agrarian nation, so red carpets should not be rolled out for industrialists but for farmers. When farmers go to sow onions, the price is ₹200 per kilo, but when the onions are ready and brought to the market, the price is reduced to ₹2 per kilo.”

Gadhvi added that under an AAP government, women would receive a fixed monthly honorarium and public services would be made more accessible. He further called on people to look beyond caste, community, and religion when voting.

State Organization General Secretary Manoj Sorathiya also addressed the gathering, noting that while the same party has been in power in Gujarat for years, basic facilities for citizens remain insufficient. “When the only work being done is looting the people, a new alternative becomes necessary, and that alternative is emerging in Gujarat in the form of the Aam Aadmi Party,” he said.

Sorathiya said that the party’s growth is a reflection of public awareness and called on citizens to support AAP in forming municipal bodies in Bhavnagar. He added, “Change in Gujarat will not be delayed and its clear reflection will be seen in the upcoming local self-government elections. Through these elections, Gujarat will be given a clear message that in 2027, the son of a common man will sit on the throne of Gujarat.”

He also referred to the historical legacy of leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel and stressed the need for new leadership emerging from within Gujarat. Sorathiya further noted that more than 20 AAP leaders are currently in jail, but said the courage of the party is growing stronger with public support.
