Rae Bareli, September 5 (PTI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reached out to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, advocating for a stop of the Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Rae Bareli junction. Gandhi highlighted in his letter that even though the train passes through Rae Bareli, it doesn't stop, prompting persistent requests from constituents for a halt to facilitate convenient travel towards the national capital. He specifically urged the minister to consider halts for trains numbered 20503/20504 and 20505/20506 at the station. Gandhi remarked, "The people of my parliamentary constituency have repeatedly requested for a brief halt, particularly to facilitate travel to New Delhi," in the September 3 letter.
