Fadnavis on Indian Culture's Vibrant Legacy at Paryushan Fest

Mumbai, Aug 27 (PTI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed that the enduring vibrancy of Indian culture is attributed to its deep-rooted values of life, harmony, and coexistence. He shared these thoughts while addressing the gathering on Tuesday evening at the ‘Paryushan Mahaparva 2025’, orchestrated by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur. Paryushan Mahaparva holds significant importance in Jainism as a festival focusing on the themes of seeking and extending forgiveness. Fadnavis highlighted the event as an indelible experience that encapsulates devotion, discipline, and compassion. “Indian culture, being the oldest in the world, thrives because it continuously champions life’s values, harmony, and coexistence. Our age-old traditions stress the right of every life form to exist, thereby placing the onus on society to nurture and protect it,” Fadnavis stated.
